About Speed Chaser Triathlon
Speed Chaser was founded by Dr George Adams, an engineer with a PhD in material fracture mechanics and a professional background rooted in research evaluation and materials research. With experience in the aerospace industry, including work in composites construction and adaptive manufacturing, George brought a highly analytical and performance-focused approach into the world of endurance sport and cycling technology.
After starting cycling in 2018, George quickly became immersed in the world of time trialling and triathlon, developing a passion for aerodynamics and efficiency in pursuit of speed. As his involvement in the sport grew, so did his awareness of the financial barriers many athletes face when trying to access genuinely fast equipment. Too often, meaningful performance gains were locked behind premium price tags, creating unnecessary inequality within sports built around progression and personal achievement.
Speed Chaser was created to challenge that model. Combining engineering expertise with firsthand racing experience, the brand focuses on developing fast, functional, and affordable performance products that make triathlon and time trialling more accessible to a wider range of athletes. Every product is designed with the belief that riders should not have to compromise between performance and affordability—and that breaking personal bests shouldn't break the bank.
